The JJJJound 991 borrows the grey and brown colour arrangement from the coveted JJJJound NB992 “Urban Grey”, which dropped in 2020, and combining it with the distinctiveness of the 991.

New Balance UK chooses to preserve the heritage of the 2001-born shoe by maintaining its classic mesh-and-suede profile. Its earth-toned presentation is then completed with lighter grey mesh underlays, sail-covered shoe strings and solid black N logos on the lateral and medial walls as well as New Balance 991 branding that resides on the tongues.
