After the return of the ‘Colour of the Month’ series in 2022, the Swoosh has been stepping up its game for the Air Force 1. Now the Shadow update makes a strong return, borrowing some playful detailing off of the Air Max Scorpion for some textured storytelling. Mixing interesting tooling and a colourful gradient, this AF1 Shadow “Canvas Chenille” brings a fun twist to your standard triple white release.Similar to the Air Max 90 “Citrus Pulse” and Blazer Mid “Green Fade”, this version of the Shadow arrives with a gradient effect on the midsole as well as a fabric-covered Swoosh. A light blue chenille Swoosh clings onto the side wall, covering up a painted Swoosh beneath it, tying into the whole layered motif that the Shadow is based on. A harsh blue gradient swallows the bottom portion of the sole unit, making them appear as if they have just emerged out of the deep blue sea.
